Pekanbaru (Amirariau.com) – A number of posyandu cadres from Suka Jadi Pekanbaru City met with Commission V DPRD Riau Province, Monday (21/12). This meeting during the recess aims to explore issues surrounding family health.
“We must both understand that posyandu is the frontline for public health,” said Ade Hartati, a member of Commission V for social, welfare, health and education.
However, she said, so far, many parties do not understand this issue. In fact, she said, with good Posyandu cadres, family health can be achieved. Henceforth, of course, is public health at large .
“This meeting gave us an understanding that there are many problems that have only been visible from the skin on the surface,” she said.

So far there is no data available regarding the existing quota, about schools. Is the current school in accordance with the needs of the community or not.
“What we should be aware of is that children who do not go to school can become structured poverty,” she said.
This issue has been repeatedly forwarded to the Riau Provincial Government. That school quota must be considered.
“Education is a benchmark for advancing human resources, and this starts with health,” she said.
According to her, she must bridge the voices of women and children. because, that is the task of Commission V.
So, the government should give awards to posyandu cadres. Because, they became the frontline of society during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Personally, she will give an appreciation in the form of a trip to Siak Regency for Posyandu cadres throughout Sukajadi, in the near future. *
