Pekanbaru (AmiraRiau.com) - Entering recces in session III, Member of Commission V of the Riau Regional House Representatives Riau (DPRD), Ade Hartati Rahmat, M.Pd. in charge of people's walfare held a friendly and suave event at his residence of Sunday (05/07/2020) which was attended by cadre posyandu, Maharatu Village, Pekanbaru.
On the occasion, Ade received various aspirations from the Posyandu cadre of Maharatu Village with various polemics that had to be solved.
Ade Hartati chose to touch the posyandu cadre segment in hopes of building community welfare. Through the voices of mothers who become Posyand cadres the position holders can find out the condition of human resources. Both from the health sector, economy, and education.

One cadre of the Maharatu Village Posyandu shared his aspirations about uneven incentives in every posyandu in Pekanbaru. He asked Ade Hartati to continue his aspirations with the Pekanbaru City Government.
"In recent recesses, matters relating to the provision of incentives have become a fundamental complaint. Actually the posyandu cadres do not expect excessive appreciation from the government but at least there is attention from the government towards their social work in the field. This needs to be known by the City Government of Pekanbaru so that there are no obstacles for the cadres to carry out their duties because actually these incentives are not used for personal gain. Usually it is used for additional food given to toddlers or pregnant women who come to the posyandu because the government has not budgeted for this additional food," said Ade Hartati.
"In addition to increasing their training when invited to health centers and related agencies, the incentives are used for transportation. The current obstacle is that it is not evenly distributed in each posyandu, some have received incentives for 4 months, some have even received one month, for example in the case of Maharatu Village. There should be no such thing in a government policy, "continued the legislator who also played an active role in voicing the interests of women and children.
On the same occasion, Ade also revealed the importance of immunization for toddlers. Despite being in a pandemic Covid-19 vaccination must also be carried out in the interest of health to prevent dangerous diseases early on.
"There must be coordination from the government to the posyandu especially in the near future in August when administering Vitamin A. Hopefully there is a regulatory policy that can still run vaccinations for the special month of August by taking into account health protocols so that people do not gather but still get vaccinated. This also becomes a momentum to simultaneously educate the public so that they maintain the health protocol, "concluded the National Mandate Party (PAN) cadre.
