Pekanbaru (AmiraRiau.com) – V Commission of the Regional People's Representative Assembly (DPRD) of Riau Province held a joint hearing with the Riau Employment Office (Disnaker) on Monday (10/08/2020) in the meeting room of V Commission DPRD Riau Jenderal Sudirman Street, Pekanbaru.
The hearing meeting chaired by Eddy A. Mohd. Yatim S.Sos, M.Si was attended by Jonli as the Head of Riau Province Employment Office and her staff. V Commission of DPRD Riau, which is in charge of Employment and transmigration, continues to coordinate and supervise related agencies.

"Disnaker as one of the Regional Apparatus Organizations which has duties and functions related to employment needs to formulate a grand design related to the strategic steps of the provincial government in dealing with the high number of job seekers and unemployment. The grand design contains a map of the growth of Indonesia's population who is currently facing a demographic bonus, it will automatically show the number of productive age in the future, "said Ade Hartati Rahmad M.Pd.
"The grand design must also be able to describe the ratio of population growth to the number of jobs, and also contain assumptions about future employment opportunities or jobs. In addition, it will also show the level of productivity of our workforce in the future starting from educational stage by workers, "added Ade Hartati who comes from the PAN Faction.
"This is needed so that Riau can control the explosion in the number of job seekers or unemployment. With this grand design, we can reduce the unemployment rate which will automatically make our Gene ratio better so that social inequality is no longer visible. This is also needed as an effort to increase the Human Development Index, "he added.
"Finally, we ask the Employment Office to ensure that companies operating in Riau also use local workers and continue to supervise central government programs such as pre-employment cards and an allowance of 600 thousand for workers with income below 5 million rupiah," close Ade.
